Play Gun Lake is Michigan’s Newest Online Casino.jpg

The Great Lakes State is only one of a handful of states to have legalized online gambling. Michiganders and visitors can now play casino games online without having to visit a brick-and-mortar casino.

The move online has required state regulatory authorities to evolve their procedures and requirements to meet these modern standards. Any gambling operator offering their services to people in Michigan must seek a license from Michigan’s Gaming Control Board (MGCB).

Online gambling in Michigan

The online casino business in Michigan is getting crowded, with fierce competition ensuing. The MGCB has issued licenses for 15 online casino operators to launch their products. In recent weeks, Play Gun Lake became the twelfth online operator to go live, with a further three expected in coming months.

The original brick-and-mortar Gun Lake Casino, owned and operated by Michigan’s Gun Lake Tribe, continues to function, although it is expected to undergo a large-scale revamp and expansion. Business owners in surrounding areas are excited about the opportunities this will present them with.

Play Gun Lake, the online casino, has been launched, and players find that accessing it via its app is even more convenient. This casino has over 30 slots games and seven table games. Many players are offering rave reviews about their user experience (UX).

A welcome incentive is among many tools Play Gun Lake is looking to get more players on board. First-time users should expect a $20 casino bonus. Like most operators, additional incentives and bonuses will apply during the customer’s relationship with Play Gun Lake. As summer approaches and people prepare to don the goalie gloves to play a variety of sports, they also know their day can end with a few relaxing casino games.

Looking forward

There is much optimism about an end to COVID being in sight due to mass vaccinations. However, experts believe we are not out of the woods yet. COVID-19 has been a lesson in expecting the unexpected.

While the world waits with bated breath to see if this pandemic is under control, many people are preparing to continue safely enjoy the holidays by following social distancing rules and other public health guidelines.

Gamblers in Michigan are excited by the prospect of playing some of their favorite games from home and maintaining a safe distance from other players. Many who have never had the chance to go to a brick-and-mortar facility can now do so from home.
